CanJet Airlines, is currently looking for a Supervisor, Cabin Services (Toronto Base - Pearson International Airport) to add to our dynamic team for a 1 year Term (Maternity Leave). (Reference CJ565)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager, Cabin Services in all matters relating to cabin safety, standards and service, the Supervisor, Cabin Services YUL will perform the following duties:
•Ensure On Time Performance targets are achieved;•Work within a unionized environment maintaining positive labour-management relationships;•Attend qualifying courses to maintain Flight Attendant qualifications;•Co-ordinate with Manager, Cabin Services for development and implementation of Flight Attendant service training and standards;•Responsible for upkeep and safe maintenance of service equipment as applicable;•Responsible for the actioning of in-flight reports both safety and service related;•Responsible for Flight Attendant uniform and grooming standards;•Co-ordinate with Supervisor Commissary & Onboard products to ensure a high level of service;•Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services on the management of Flight Attendant status including absenteeism;•Responsible for general Flight Attendant management including counselling and disciplinary in co-ordination with the Manager, Cabin Services;•Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services with Flight Attendant recruitment; •Assume line flying as required; •Perform aircraft and crew room inspections; •Conduct line indoctrinations; and•Assume any responsibilities delegated by the Manager, Cabin Services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•Know the contents of the Company's Operations Manual and Flight Attendant Manual as it is necessary for the performance of assigned duties;•Know the provisions of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Commercial Air Service Standards as is necessary for the performance of the assigned duties;•Have a minimum six months Flight Attendant experience; •In-charge experience is considered as asset;•Must be fluently bilingual in both Canadian official languages (English & French);•Must have integrity and the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact;•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, manage and motivate individuals in a team environment are a must; •Must be enthusiastic and exhibit a positive attitude;•Previously demonstrated ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position;
*NOTE: Flex time; this position does require you to work irregular hours including weekend work.
