We currently have an opening for a Manager, Flight Coordination (Toronto Pearson).
REPSONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
· Continually work to improve business processes to enhance the client experience, while ensuring cost effective and efficient solutions, satisfying all parties
· Meet with new clients to understand their needs and expectations to further develop standard practices in dealing with the client.
· Prepare and present managed client agreements and renewals, in partnership with the VP
· Own and control client relationships upon signed agreement with new clients throughout the delivery of services in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
· Review ongoing service delivery, evaluate performance and compliance with agreement, and maintain client loyalty through tailored services
· Oversee certain key accounts personally to ensure continuity, stability and excellence in execution.
· Develop standard operating procedures in the areas of aircraft scheduling complexities, service delivery issues, maintenance of aircraft, and performance standards.
· Work closely with Flight Coordination team in an effort to liaise with Client and Maintenance to coordinate aircraft downtime and efficient use of resources
· Identify client-related operational & business risks and escalate risks to VP for action
· Mentor and develop team within scope of authority, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of a client-centric team
· Promote a learning environment that ensures continued development of a skilled and expert team to enable delivery of quality results
· Recruit and retain top talent in the Flight Coordination team
· Develop and implement individual and departmental objectives that align to corporate objectives
· Schedule staff according to client and business needs
· Coordinate activities across the functional groups (Charter Sales, Flight Coordination, and Finance) as needed to deliver a superior end-to-end client experience.
· Liaise with Finance to provide reports and analysis, as required
· Partner with other Flight Coordination Departments to drive processes and changes that align the flight coordination function to organizational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
· Minimum university degree (BA) or equivalent experience
· Understanding of Flight Coordination and Business Aviation, an asset
· Hands-on manager with the ability to influence and persuade others, especially across organizational boundaries.
· Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked effectively in and across complex organizations, using business processes to his/her advantage to get results
· Excellent communication skills
· Passionate about customer service
· Results driven and achievement oriented
· Ability to work constructively under pressure
· Resilient with a high tolerance for change and ambiguity
· Strong work ethic complemented by a positive can-do attitude
In addition to the above you will be able to obtain a Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate and airport security clearance per regulatory requirements; interpersonal and communication skills to clearly convey technical information and disseminate accordingly; knowledge of and ability to work with computerized flight operations systems.
