Canadian North is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for our Charters Division. Charter Specialists will be responsible for ensuring contract integrity and maintaining positive relations with Charter clients and customers. Competition No: CS2012
Responsibilities
Provide support in the Charter boarding lounge during the flight processing phase of Charter clients and customers
Ensure all aspects of the Charter departure and arrivals experience are handled with the utmost efficiency and professionalism
Provide administrative support prior to and after Charter arrivals and departures
Compile information and produce various reports for department and Charter clients as required
Promptly communicate Charter reports requiring action plans to improve processes
Provide assistance to Charter Coordinators for the set up and execution of Adhoc Charters
Liaise with Operations Control Centre; Charter customers; and Sub-contractors as required
Assist with Charter recovery plans as required
Using the reservation system, make required changes to Charter customer reservations
Develop and maintain an inventory listing of all Charter supplies; ensure adequate supplies are on-hand for all flights
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management Systems program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
Other duties as assigned and/or Charter specific
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (computer knowledge and experience is essential)
Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision or direction
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
Proven ability to effectively handle diverse and challenging situations with poise and diplomacy
Ability to manage priorities and conflicting demands
Well organized, detail orientated, capable of multitasking
Previous experience and/or knowledge of airline operations is considered an asset
Grade 12 or equivalent experience
Must be available for shift work
