North Cariboo Air is currently recruiting an Account Manager( 1 year Mat Leave Coverage)

Job Description/purpose
This position is responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts and regions, in addition to, managing quality and consistency of service delivery.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Present and sell company services to current and potential clients.
 Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the account activity.
 Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
 Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
 Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
 Develop and maintain sales materials and current fleet knowledge.
 Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
 Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contracted services.
 Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
 Identify and resolve client concerns.
 Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, foll0w-up and adherence to goals.
 Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
 Coordinate company staff and specifically charter coordinators to accomplish the work required to close and service flights.
 Develop and implement special sales activities in new markets.
 Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
 Follow up for collection of payment.
 Provide on the job training to new sales employees.
 Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
 Actively supports the company Safety Management System by participating in the program.
 All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING
 Post secondary education in marketing, business or related field.
 Two to five years sales or marketing experience.
 Knowledge and experience in the aircraft charter business.
 Good business acumen.
 Excellent verbal and written language skills
 Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
 Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
 Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
 Must have excellent management, communication and organizational skills.
 Ability to hold a Transport Canada airside security pass.
 Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
 Valid driver’s license.
