We are currently looking for a Base Supervisor to add to our dynamic team located at Montreal International Airport. (Reference CJ624)
*NOTE: Flex time; this position does require you to work irregular hours including weekend work.
- Attend qualifying courses to maintain technical and instructional skills;
- Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services for development and implementation of Flight Attendant service training and standards;
- Responsible for upkeep and safe maintenance of service equipment as applicable;
- Responsible for the actioning of in-flight reports both safety and service related;
- Responsible for Flight Attendant Uniform and Appearance Standards;
- Liaise with Commercial Services to ensure high level of service onboard;
- Liaise with other company departments as necessary in the performance of assigned duties;
- Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services on the management of Flight Attendant status including absenteeism;
- Responsible for general Flight Attendant management including counseling and disciplinary in co-ordination with the Manager, Cabin Services and as prescribed in the Collective Agreement;
- Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services with Flight Attendant recruitment;
- Assist with required Flight Attendant training as it pertains to service;
- Assume line flying as required;
- Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services regarding 'on-time performance' based on company objectives;
- Perform aircraft and crew room inspections;
- Conduct line checks and indoctrinations as required;
- Co-ordinate with the Manager, Cabin Services with regard to Line Check results;
- Responsible for coordinating and or providing necessary administrative resources for the flight attendant group; and
- Assume any responsibilities delegated by the Manager, Cabin Services.
- Know the contents of the Company's Operations Manual and CanJet Flight Attendant training programs as is necessary for the performance of assigned duties;
- Know the provisions of the Aeronautics Act, the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Commercial Air Service Standards as is necessary for the performance of the assigned duties;
- Must be fluently bilingual in both Canadian official languages (English & French);
- Demonstrate to the Manager and VP, Cabin Services the ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
