Canadian North is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Industrial Charter Department. The Manager, Industrial Charters will be responsible for ensuring operational integrity and maintaining a positive working relationship with charter clients.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety
Provide supervisory support to all Charter and Senior Charter Specialists through all phases of charter customer operations
Provide aircraft gauge selection based on client request and planned passenger loads
Provide support and reports to the Director, Charters and charter client contacts, this includes compiling information and producing reports required
Liaise with Operations Control Centre; charter customers; and sub-contractors as required
Provide leadership and assistance with irregular operations of charter flights
Account Management including:
Manage a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales targets
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
Manage and solve conflicts with clients
Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account
Meet time deadlines for accounts
Travel as necessary (to site)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite is required
3 years Charter airline experience
Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision or direction
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
Proven ability to effectively handle diverse and challenging situations
Ability to manage priorities and conflicting demands
Well organized, detail orientated, capable of multitasking
Post-secondary education
Management experience considered an asset
