New Posting - Winnipeg Airport Authority

The Winnipeg Airport Authority is currently recruiting a Manager, Customer Experience – TERM (Approx 17 months).  CLOSING DATE: September 30, 2013

Duties:
Ensuring a consistent positive experience for all passengers, the Manager, Customer. Experience will develop processes and procedures to effectively deliver service quality standards in conjunction with Winnipeg Airports Authority strategic directives. Responsible for parking operation, and ground transportation contract compliance management. Focus on continuous improvement of way finding enhancements for passengers. Implementation of innovative ideas and concepts to improve parking service options and achieving revenue targets. Manage customer experience initiatives including the Customer Service Coordinator, Goldwing Ambassadors, information booth, hotel kiosk and special event parking management. Monitor and ensure the efficient operation of terminal services through interaction with customers, airlines, tenants and other governmental agencies.


Education & Experience:
·         A Degree in Business Management, Airport Management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;  Minimum 3 years working in a customer service environment;  5 years experience in airport operations;  Previous management experience is preferred

Requirements:
  • ·         Ability to maintain positive relationships with key partners such as customers, Airlines, and transportation service providers
  • ·         Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of customers both verbally and written
  • ·         Knowledge of Ground Transportation including Car Rentals, Parking, Taxis and Limos
  • ·         Knowledge of Terminal Operations including, but not limited to baggage carousel allocations, FIDS information, baggage room pier allocations and signage
  • ·         Fully computer literate including use of Microsoft Office and various software applications (GTMS)
  • ·         Demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a fast paced environment
  • ·         Excellent accuracy, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • ·         Demonstrated commitment to Customer Service
  • ·         A working knowledge of the budgeting process
  • ·         Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • ·         Experience in negotiating contracts would be considered an asset
  • ·         WAA may consider an applicant with demonstrated abilities and experience in lieu of a requirement.


Condition of employment is the ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Restricted Area Pass.
