The Calgary Airport Authority is a
not-for-profit non share capital corporation, responsible for the management,
maintenance, operation and development of the Calgary International Airport and
Springbank Airport under long-term leases from the Government of Canada
The Role
Reporting to the Director, Operations,
the overall responsibility of this position is to provide general office
administrative and operational support to the Operations department. This
position’s primary duties include:
- Participate in the Emergency Operations Centre
(EOC) during emergency response and provide training to others who may act
in this capacity.
- Perform weekly EOC inspections - update and
maintain maps and equipment.
- xMatters system administrator.
- Compile monthly reports and maintain training
records.
- Develop, update and maintain training manuals.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
- Review Primary Security Line Partner Plan.
- Prepare and compile the security special event
applications.
- Assist Manager, Security and Manager,
Passenger Experience as required.
- Assist with preparation of plans, SOP’s and
tenant policies for the new terminal.
- Perform administration duties such as
scheduling and booking meeting rooms, taking meeting minutes, processing
ordering and receiving, requisitions and purchase orders etc.
Basic Requirements
§ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and
Photoshop.
§ Ability to make sound judgment calls and exercise discretion and
sensitivity when handling confidential information.
§ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
§ Experience in technical and business writing, recording and
transcribing minutes.
§ Positive attitude and great teamwork skills.
§ Demonstrate ability to adapt to shifting priorities of a
diversified office environment.
