We are currently looking for a Program Developer (YHZ Halifax Base - Stanfield International Airport) to add to our dynamic team. (Reference CJ687)
Reporting to the Director, Cabin Services in all matters relating to cabin safety, standards, & program development. This position is outside of the bargaining unit. Duties will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate with Manager of Training & Regulatory for development and implementation of Flight Attendant training; (Safety & Service related)
  • Coordinate with Manager of Training & Regulatory with development and amendment of standards pertaining to cabin safety
  • Establishing policies and procedures to ensure consistency of internal training programs and manuals
  • Assist in the coordination of flight attendant training
  • Responsible for upkeep and safe maintenance of instructional manuals;
  • Perform inspections on all manual holders programs;
  • Attend qualifying courses to maintain technical and instructional skills;
  • Perform office related duties as required;
  • Assume any responsibilities delegated by the Director, Cabin Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous Flight Attendant experience considered an asset
  • Above average interpersonal, written communication, time management, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in program &/or policy development are mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite of Products.
  • Strong creativity, ingenuity and the ability to 'think outside of the box'.
