Flair Airlines is a charter airline based out of Kelowna, BC. We
operate contract and ad hoc passenger charters in Canada, the US, and
Internationally. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Calgary base.
The Operations
Coordinator in Calgary will be an extension of our Operations Centre in Kelowna
and will liaise with the head office and our Calgary base.
The Operations
Coordinator is responsible for a number of functions including but not limited
to:
- Coordinate ground and passenger handling, catering, and various other
services
- Monitoring all day-of operations and communicate delays,
irregularities or any changes to dispatch, maintenance control, our customers,
and other internal departments
- Answer, direct and resolve crew or ground
operations calls into the Operations Coordination Centre
- Ensuring passenger
manifests are accurate and uploaded at time of departure
- Some crew
scheduling functions including communicating and producing changes
- Reserve,
change, cancel crew positioining flights, groung transportation, or hotel
accomodations as required
- Ensuring all permits and slot times are in place
24 hours prior to departure
- Compile and communicate Daily Operations
Summary
The Operations Coordinator position is a challenging yet
rewarding position that requires a great deal of flexibility. The ideal
candidate will be someone who is a self-starter and works well under pressure.
They must be able to work a variety of shifts including early mornings,
evenings, weekends and holidays. They will need to be self-directed and be able
to make critical decisions, sometimes with limited information.
Required
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A
minimum intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the CARS
705 is an asset
- Previous scheduling, operations, or logistics experience is
an asset
