Perimeter Aviation LP is currently recruiting a Charter Operations Lead. 

Established in 1960 and based in Winnipeg and Thompson Manitoba, Perimeter Aviation LP has grown into a diversified airline company with more than 600 employees, operating a fleet of 31 aircraft in a scheduled air service to Manitoba and North Western Ontario. In addition to our scheduled passenger and freight service, Perimeter Aviation LP operates a flight training school, 24/7 North American charter service, Medical evacuation services and a full service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, Manufacturing and Garrett turbine engine services.
We are seeking a diverse candidate to join Perimeter Aviation LP in the position of Charters Operations Lead.

Summary
The Charters Operations Lead is responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of the overall Charter Department and required to be actively involved in sales and operations. As the Charter Team Lead, you are a hard-working and self-motivated individual who will work closely with the entire Charter Team, leading and promoting Perimeter’s Charter business.
The Charters Operations Lead position is responsible for managing the team all aspects of a flight from initial request to putting offers together and working out commission schedules, then following up with client and carrying through to booking and flight set up. In addition, to maximize business opportunities by offering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements within budgetary and operational restrictions while making suitable profit for the company.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

•Responsible for providing coaching, training and mentoring to all members of the Charter Department, ensuring customer service and sales standards are achieved and customer expectations are surpassed.
•Responsible and accountable for preparing and delivering all performance plans and reviews.
•Responsible for creating a respectful environment that stimulates guides and encourages employees to realize their maximum potential and encourages professional development.
•Communicate effectively and negotiate when necessary to procure best value for clients
•Evaluate suitable commission schedule
•Ensure timely offer with detailed and accurate information is provided for clients
•Follow up regularly and work towards confirmation
•Ensure all contracts, insurance and regulatory matters are accurate, legally compliant and that company requirements are met
•Communicate as necessary with suppliers to ensure client requirements are met
•Use initiative to identify new potential areas for business development 
•Develop new business through initiative, follow-up on new leads, client recommendations and pro-active networking
•Provide support for sales activities to Charter team for new business development
•Client Relationship Management:
•Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft charter solutions
•Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximize business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed
•Manage all operational aspects of charters from the first enquiry to completion of the trip
•Ensure clients are always kept informed of any development linked to specific bookings
•Issue flight brief with all flight related information
•Communicate with accounts to issue invoice to client and ensure accuracy
•Follow payment schedule and ensure payments are made/received
•Ensure all client and supplier data is kept up to date and is managed in a discreet manner
•Keep up to date on latest operational capabilities of aircraft and handlers
•Keep up to date on latest aircraft availability 
•Update the operators list with the most recent information on the operators fleet details
•Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role and within the competence of the role holder
•Be aware of and comply with the company policies 
•Carry out additional hours working where required and provide 24 hour duty coverage of Charter team rotations
•Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Education and Experience

•Grade 12 diploma
College degree in Aviation or related areas with equivalent experience or combination desirable
•Leadership and supervisory skills
•Knowledge of Skyline computer system preferred
•Working knowledge of Charter operations including (CARs)
•Must possess valid drivers license
•Sales and Service skills
•Time Management skills
•Conflict Resolution skills
•Decision making skills
•Knowledge of Perimeter Aviation company policies and procedures
•Must qualify for WAA pass
•Aboriginal Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training
