Aviation Leadership Forum

The 2014 Aviation Leadership Forum is right around the corner on February 18th

We hope to see you again on February 18 at the 2014 one-day Forum event which brings insight and opportunity to participants from all industries. Through cross-pollination of ideas and solutions, the forum provides an arena for the conversation of Leadership, and the possibility of generative safety cultures as a norm.
2014 Theme: Leading Change Management -  From the Ground Up

Most people are not receptive or have a difficult time dealing with change. The focus of this Forum is to address this subject and strive to give the tools attendees need to help them assess where the breakdown begins; to look at change from the perspective of all levels, from top level management to front line staff. This Forum will look at how the process can be improved to help create change leaders and personnel that embrace the goals of the orginization. Creating change leaders within an organization is often a struggle, but the Aviation Leadership Forum wants attendees to experience that through creative leadership, it doesn’t have to be. Harnessing the power of change and navigating through it, is key.

Why is the Aviation Leadership Forum so Successful?

What sets this Forum apart from other conferences is focus; this forum was created to evoke discussion and change in an insightful environment as a replacement to a passive conference format.  Sought-after guest speakers crystalize the important concepts of their presentations into an intense session of no more than 30 minutes. On February 18, 2014 they will also provide delegates with tools they can use to implement change.  The Forum then provides organized, facilitated round-table discussions where the delegates can use these tools to maximize the learning and absorption of key concepts that take the learning potential to the next level.

Who can you expect to see this year?

Here are some of the speakers that we are proud to present at the 2014 Aviation Leadership Forum:
  • Craig Richmond - President and CEO of Vancouver Airport Authority
  • Wendy Lisogar-Cocchia - President, Absolute Spa Group, and past Chairman of the Vancouver Board of Trade
  • Dr. Jan Davies MD - Alberta Health Services and Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Calgary, specializing in Human Factors and Systems Safety, consulting to several airlines and aviation safety organizations
  • Jeneece Edroff - youngest recipient of “The Order of BC”, and as a teenager has raised $8.5 Million for charity
