Job Duties
The CSA meets and greets visitors, handles inquiries both in person and on the phone, and provides information and assistance to staff and the public according to established procedures. Working in conjunction with the business development team you will interact with the customers via telephone, face to face in the departures area and in other customer focused settings as required. A member of a fast paced business environment, the CSA will help support other staff members as required including passenger check-in, telephone switchboard operation, and other miscellaneous administrative duties. The hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week based on assigned and unassigned customer departures and arrivals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform In Person reception duties for all company related activities
- Meet and greet passengers and the public.
- Various office duties as time permits including sorting and distributing mail, filing, copying, typing and faxing.
- Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment and order any supplies needed for the base
- Guide the overall delivery of service from the inception of a flight through to completion.
- Coordinate passenger manifests.
- Coordinate departure times and aircraft availability with Operations Control Centre.
- Follow up with customers to ensure that all flights have been conducted to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Maintain charter files for current and future customers.
- Manage commissary inventory.
- Order catering for all flights.
- Check in passengers for all flights.
- Accurate data entry for various flight details.
- Meet, greet and escort passengers departing North Cariboo’s departure lounge
- Work with the flight crew to assist in the delivery of service details.
- Actively support the company Safety Management System by participating in the program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Grade 12 education.
- Ability to hold a Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass
Preferred Skills
- Should be motivated by providing executive level customer service.
- Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, employees, and department staff.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information
- This position requires professionalism in dress and demeanor as well as an orientation towards customer service.
- Clear speaking voice in the English language.
- Flexible in work habits and work schedule; shift work may apply with start times between 5:30am and 10:00am
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Wage Range: $18.27 - $21.15
