TITLE: CABIN SAFETY TECHNICAL
WRITER AND TRAINING SPECIALIST
LOCATION: CALGARY
MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and maintain of all Inflight manuals
according to the established standards and prepare lesson plans.
Manage
Safety Standards of Sterling and its contract Flight Attendants.
Current
with industry and curriculum developments related to courses taught and be
vigilant on ways to improve
programs and manuals.
Set up of all
training required and facilitate for all Flight Attendants-PAOBD, First Aid,
Live Fire, Life Raft, CRM, DG,
Annual and Company specific.
Monitor all
training records, maintain records and auditing system to ensure all regulatory
requirements are met.
Attend safety meetings.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
REQUIRED:
Qualifications and Skills:
2 years of education and work
experience in Inflight
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal
skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Good working
knowledge of MS word and Excel
Ability to develop Power Point
presentations
Self-motivated and works with little or no supervision
Thorough knowledge of CARS and the provisions of the CBAA
Maintain
proficiency for line flying duties
Excellent writing skills
Flexible
hours and pay determined on level of experience
