Fast Air Ltd. Duty Officer Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Position Summary: The Duty Officer role is considered a junior, or entry level position within Fast Air. Our Duty Officers are required to work night shifts and weekends. The ideal candidate is an articulate and organized student pilot, or junior pilot seeking a role with the potential of achieving a future flight crew position within Fast Air. Although all qualified candidates will be considered, special consideration will be given to those who are working towards, or have recently achieved a commercial pilot license with multi-IFR ratings. Position Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the accurate and timely relay of requests for Medevac services from provincial healthcare agencies. Required to calculate and deliver exact quotes for estimated time of arrival at call location. Processes and transmits information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of crews and aircraft. Maintains records. Provides passenger services/reception coverage.
