Flair Airlines is a charter airline providing customized charter service to a variety of markets including workforce transportation, niche tours and special charters.
Our head office is located in Kelowna, BC and we have bases in Calgary, AB and Eastern Canada.
We are recruiting a Training Coordinator to join our team in Kelowna.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for a number of functions including, but not limited to:
• Schedule and coordinate recurrent, indoctrination, and initial ground and simulator training.
• Management of the pilot training records including:
o Perform a thorough vetting of all documentation and training records on a continual basis including but not limited to the initial training, company indoctrination, emergency training, line indoctrination, emergency procedures training, line checks, aircraft technical ground training, Pilot Proficiency Checks (PPCs), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and copies of all exams.
o Ensure that all crew member training records have or are in process of having a complete three year file including corroborating documentation.
• Liaise with crew scheduling to ensure training is entered into the monthly crew schedule system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with training providers and new employees to ensure the Transportation Safety Authority (TSA) screening process for trainees in the United States is properly prepared.
Required Qualifications
• A minimum intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a high stress, ever-changing work environment while prioritizing tasks and assignments.
• Experience in a training or administrative role within the airline industry is an asset
• Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards is an asset (CARs & CASS).
• Experience with scheduling software is an asset.
The successful incumbent will be highly organized with a high level of attention to detail. They will have excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to work towards tight timelines.
