Due to our continued growth and success, our Edmonton operation is seeking an experienced Manager, Operations person to support our growing and diverse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the expansion of the business in new and existing markets by proactively pursuing business opportunities and selling products and services throughout Western Canada.
- Provide advice, guidance and direction as it relates to the companies fuelling parts, systems and solutions operations.
- Develop system quotes for aviation fuel parts, service and supply systems; provide special pricing for key clients.
- Perform project management activities related to refuelling systems and equipment.
- Perform sales and service calls, including installations and fabrications of refuelling systems.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a pleasurable client experience.
- Assist the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Edmonton office.
- Assist the General Manager with budgeting for systems and projects.
- Assist the General Manager in implementing and supporting corporate policies and procedures.
- Perform general administrative and Project administration duties as required.
- Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety programs and Quality Systems
- Other duties as required.
Education/ Training:
- High School Diploma.
- Related Technical or Business Diploma or Degree is preferred.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related sales experience in aviation.
- Excellent organizational, time management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve results.
- Experience in budgeting, project management and operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead through persuasion and influence.
- Works well under pressure and makes deadlines.
- Demonstrated relationship building skills.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
- Proficient with MS Office Suite of products, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to pass a background check for access to airport facilities is required.
