Job Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director, Passenger Experience, and as a member of the Passenger Experience team, the Manager, Passenger Facilitation is focused on the short, medium, and long-term perspective for evolving processes, technologies and systems to facilitate and streamline passenger flow at YEG. In the context of Passenger Experience this position is responsible for identifying, leading, and championing changes to airport infrastructure that are driven by technology, innovation, and the passenger wants and needs. This position also defines and sets the business plans and goals of the Passenger Facilitation Department through the implementation of the Passenger Experience strategy.
POSITION SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identify the necessary budget requirements for the provision of Passenger Facilitation related enhancement projects, to be executed in the current and subsequent year’s plans.
- Ensure the delivery of optimal results against appropriate performance metrics. These metrics include: delivery of business plans within appropriate time frames, delivery of passenger facilitation initiatives that help increase applicable ASQ scores, reductions in passenger processing times at check-in, security and immigration, and reduced baggage delivery times.
- Develop, implement and maintain methods of capturing passenger experience intelligence in support of a deeper and more effective passenger experience strategy, and to improve strategic decision making.
- Develop, implement and review Passenger Facilitation processes and procedures by identifying technologies that improve airport infrastructure, operations and passenger facilitation projects.
Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- University education with concentration in business applications
- Demonstrated history of effective operations management, including process improvement and project execution
- Strong knowledge of business processes
- Ability to form strong stakeholder relations (internal/external)
- Create a vision and the strategic planning of initiatives required to deliver an outcome which meets the customer’s needs and the company’s vision
- Ability to analyze current and desired future operational states, and make recommendations / business cases for improvements; Performance metric and dashboard development
- Ability to lead capital projects through scoping, implementation and execution
- Performance metric and dashboard development
- Must secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal record check
