BCAC Workshop - October 30

POST ACCIDENT LIFE CYCLE WORKSHOP - SAVE THE DATE - October 30, 2014

Accidents, though rare, do happen - and sometimes with tragic results.  Dealing with the aftermath can be very stressful and compounded by the need to respond to the many agencies and interested parties in the hours, days and months following the event.

To learn more about the operator's responsibilities following a high profile accident, The British Columbia Aviation Council will host a one day event that will include government agencies, stress counsellors, media consultants, insurance underwriters and legal advisors - all of whom, play a role in managing the aftermath.

Learn more about counselling those affected.  Be better informed on your regulatory, legal and emotional responsibilities.  Develop a check list of responsibilities tailored for your operation to better prepare you and your employees to manage a high profile event.

The Workshop is scheduled for October 30, 2014 at a Vancouver location (TBD).  It precedes the
BCAC's Silver Wings Award offering the opportunity to join others in recognizing this year's Awards recipients.

Save the Date!
