As one of two Schedulers, reporting to the Director, Flight Coordination, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the aircraft schedule and Flight Crew Schedule. 

On a daily basis, they monitor and manage Aurora resources and assets to maximize utilization while ensuring company policy and applicable regulations are adhered to. Schedulers may be assigned a specialization, either crew or aircraft, which will include additional duties related to that field. At all times, schedulers will ensure they are familiar with both specializations to provide adequate coverage and assistance when necessary.


Primary Duties include: 
• Scheduling which includes: monitoring flight duty and crew assignments; track Airline travel credits; mitigate fatigue through appropriate scheduling; aircraft scheduling / fleet efficiency and long term coordination with ALC (Airworthiness Logistics Control)
• Crew Specialization, which includes: building monthly crew schedules; OT Tracking/Verification; processing shift trades; forecast crew availability and crew vacation tracking.
• Aircraft Specialization, which includes: aircraft subscriptions, aircraft documentation, and new aircraft onboarding. 
• Reporting on items such as: Crew Utilization Reports;, Sub-Charter Reports, Fleet Utilization Report and Reliability Reporting

Qualifications 
• Grade 12 education.
• 2 years aviation experience with 1 year related work experience.
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations governing air crews (including flight and duty time hours).
• Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
