Flight Follower / Commercial Operations Coordinator

North-Wright Airways Ltd is a regional based air service provider in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories and is seeking a Flight Follower / Commercial Operations Coordinator to work with our team. Situated on the Mackenzie River and on the edge of the Mackenzie Mountains, Norman Wells is a perfect spot for a person who enjoys and appreciates the outdoors and adventure.

The Flight Follower / Commercial Operations Coordinator position is a full time and permanent position.  The Flight Follower . Commercial Operations Coordinator is responsible to the Operations Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following:

-monitor the aircraft departure and arrival times;
-evaluate aircraft delays and respond accordingly;
-coordinate fleet and schedules based on volume of passenger, cargo and charter requirements;
-utilizing the NavCanada website, local CARS station, or local informants, assist pilots in the gathering of weather information (provide no interpretation of the weather);
-maintain customer relations 
-consult with the DOM, or designated person, on aircraft maintenance status and maintenance scheduling;
-consult Flight Duty XLS to ensure pilots will not exceed their duty time and rest limitations on assigned flights;
-be the focal point of communication within the operations department;
-compile daily charter sales reports for the finance department; and,
-advise the Operations Manager, Chief Pilot or Accountable Executive of any abnormalities to the operation, as necessary.

Qualifications are Grade 12 or equivalent, aviation experience an asset, dispatch or coordination of equipment and crews. Organized and able to work with multiple facets of our organization.
