We are seeking self-motivated, safe, positive enthusiatic, goal oriented individual for an inmediate opening as a General Manager & Commercial Supervisor. This position will oversee all aspects of the operations of the Hangar and customers retention and attraction. The General Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction, safety, efficient manaagement and operation, maintenance and financial performance of the hangar facility and services. He/She is responsible for compliance with all rules, regulations, and policites as issued by local, state anda federal authorities. A recommended FBO/ Aviation management experience will be highly valuable. The General manager will be responsible for: -Maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring the safe delivery of Aero Logistics products and services -Lead and develop employees to perform to the highest of standars -Manages all aspects of the accounting (accounts payables and receivables) -Manages all aspects of sales (required to meets sales quotas and customer retention quotas) with the assistance of other staff members -Manages a cross funtional team that includes operations, customer service, sales, and accounting. Motivate employees to outperform their respective targets and bechmarks -Compliance with all rules, regulations and policies as issued by local, state and federal authorities. -Oversee all business functions of the Hangar, including proper delivery of services, condition of physical, building, staffing, equipment, and maintenance of same. Takes lead role in maintaining existing bussiness and developing new business by monitoring margins, negotiating fuel and/or hangar agreements and problem resolution with the customer base. -Serves as direct liason with managing entity at the Saskatoon airport. -Responsible for the financial oversite of the facility (budgeting, forecasting, etc...) -Ensures that all financial and legal matters are attended in a timely manner and acts as a liaision between lawyers, customers, suppliers and contractors, with the CEO/owner and with the headquarters in Spain and other directors in the United States -Ensures the smooth operation of the bussines -Perform all other duties as requered and assigned. -Will oversee a combined staff of aproximately 6 employees JOB REQUIREMENTS Previous aviation/ FBO management experience will be highly valuable. Flexibility with your schedule is a must as we operate 24 hours a day. As a minimum requirement each applicant posses the following -Prefer bachelor's in a Bussines Administration or related field of study -5-8 years of specialized general aviation experience. Airline industry or other aviation related experience will be considered. -Demostrated administrative and management capabilities -Demostrated Track record of excellence ( Sales and general business management) - A passion to be the best in all that you do while maintaining a consistent focus on ethical behaviour -Robust problem solving skills -Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral -Flexible work scheule may include working overtime, nights, on week ends holidays and be on call -Additional languages, : Spanish and or French (preferred but not a must) -Valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements - Be able to pass a year background check For further information, or to apply, please click here |
