Job Title: Cargo Agent / Ground Handler

Job Classification: Hired as Casual, with very good potential for Permanent F/T if applicant meets company requirements

Location:  YVR

Job Description:

Perform ground handling duties during flight operations including the off-loading and on-loading of aircraft; warehousing which includes the build up, break down and sorting of cargo to the proper destinations. Work in office environment dealing with daily paperwork and direct interaction with customers.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma required.

Have good computer skills.

Have good interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers.

Work in a team environment or independently.

Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre any package weighing up to 45kgs/100lbs.

Operate forklifts and ground support equipment.

Must posses a valid provincial drivers license (Drivers abstract is required) and have reliable transportation.

Must be able to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance (RAIC) and associated background checks.

Prior cargo warehouse and airline experience considered an asset.
