Job Description Position Summary:
- This position provides operational leadership to a team of foodservice associates within a single location. Operations may vary in size and scope based on client population and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Implements and leads compliance on all company operating standards and legislated standards within the component including company policy and procedures, Health & Safety Standards, Safe Food Handling and Human Resource Management
- Oversees hiring, staffing, labour, productivity, progressive discipline, development of associates, training, and administration of HR policies and in compliance with union requirements (as applicable)
- Develops operational component forecasts each period and is able to explain variances in sales, costs and operational activities
- Reconcile period-end reports and develop action plans to address challenges
- Oversees the implementation and maintenance of marketing and culinary concepts within the component
- Interacts with both client and customers to ensure relationships are proactively managed
- Collects, records and deposits all revenues received at the component and maintains accurate records for all transactions including sales, petty cash and all accounts receivable
- Orders all product and paper goods through approved suppliers and in accordance with established par levels
- Conducts weekly physical inventory of all product
- Participates in annual DM Audit and follows up on corrective actions
- Tracks and keeps all employee certifications current as well as own
- Assists staff when needed during peak hours
- Review customer satisfaction surveys and develop action plans to address gaps
- Attends annual Regional Managers’ Meeting
- Performs other duties as assigned by the GM/DM and required by the component
Qualifications Requirements:
- Certified in Microsoft Office environments including Outlook
- Qualified on Proserve Liquor Staff Training – up to date
- Qualified in Food Safety Training – up to date
- Emergency First Aid – Level A CPR and AED
- Diploma in Hospitality Management, or qualified years of experience in Customer Service in Restaurant/Hotel/Tourism Environments
