Manager, Sales ( Nunavik)
First Air - Kanata, ON
Full-time, Temporary
Program regulated by Transport Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Build a work culture such that maximizing revenue, optimizing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction are key to drive effectiveness. 
  • Identifies, creates, actions, maintains, protects and maximizes revenue opportunities with all customers. 
  • Provides accurate analysis, forecasts and intelligence on all relevant Northern issues affecting revenue opportunities. 
  • Ensures preparation of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual reports, analyze revenue performance and identify avenues for maximizing revenue. 
  • Be the prime point of contact for all customers. 
  • Represents First Air professionally in conferences, trade shows and other community/promotional events across Canada. 
  • Manages the relationship with all partnership forms intended to find new customers or maximize revenue from existing customers. 
  • Negotiates and prepares contracts. 
  • Providing customer support for Nunavik based customers including Makivik and related companies (Air Inuit). 
  • Provide First Air with timely information about regional activities and potential joint marketing efforts. 
  • Providing input into overall First Air planning and budget activities. 
  • Fulfilling marketing and sales duties and activities as outlined in the Marketing & Sales Manual. 
Skills and Qualifications Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications: 
  • Two years post secondary education preferred. 
  • Minimum two years of managerial or supervisory experience. 
  • Experience in sales, reservation or marketing preferred. 
  • Fluency in French and/or Inuktitut would be an asset. 
  • Previous experience with aboriginal organizations preferred. 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision. 
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel. 
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively. 
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance
