QUALITY LEAD - WINNIPEG

GardaWorld is the largest security screening service provider at a number of airports across Canada, ranging from the biggest airport to some of the smallest. We work in a public-private partnership to ensure the safety and security of the travelling public.

GardaWorld is currently building a candidate pool for the full-time positions of Quality Lead at the Winnipeg International Airport (YWG). These are salaried, non-union positions. Shift work may be required, possibly on a rotating schedule, with occasional overtime.

Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
 Conducting active oversight of the Pre-Board Screening (PBS), Non Passenger Screening (NPS) and Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) operations
 Oversee and document compliance with CATSA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GardaWorld’s Quality Management System (QMS)
 Collect data to measure SOP compliance and performance
 Provide coaching, correction and overall feedback to Screening Officers and Checkpoint Managers
 Intervene immediately if parts of the screening process were not completed or if critical aspects of the screening process were performed incorrectly
 Conduct oversight on professional appearance, professional conduct, customer service and screening efficiency
 Highlight issues, inconsistencies and trends in Scorecard data
 Assist with the development and tracking of Corrective Action Plans
 Assist various departments with continuous improvements
 Assist with breach and unsuccessful infiltration test investigations
 Conduct or assist with audits, as requested (CATSA, CGSB, and/or Internal Audits)
 Suggest and follow-up on areas for improvement with positive reinforcement, direction and constructive feedback
 Periodic travel to the Prairie’s Class 2 and Class 3 airports to perform QL duties
Job Requirements
 Must have excellent communication skills; fluent in written and oral English
 Must have a desire for service excellence and excellent customer service skills
 Must have shown good team work abilities and interpersonal skills
 Must be attentive to detail and able to think creatively
 Must have some knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
 Must be reliable, independent and able to handle stress
 Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
 Oversight and/or auditing experience is an asset
 French fluency is an asset
 Certification as a Screening Officer is an asset
 Training background is an asset
