IMP is currently recruiting a Ramp Attendant, reporting to the Maintenance Production Manager, the Ramp Attendant will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the arrival and departure of aircraft from a 24 hour / 7 days per week operation at the YYZ FBO. This role will also be responsible for grooming aircraft as required.
Responsibilities for Ramp:
•Greet and service our clients and customers to the highest standards with their luggage, parking and any other requests
•Coordinate and liaise with Lounge Customer Service Representatives, Flight Crew, Maintenance Engineers and Montreal OCC/Toronto FCC to ensure seamless service provision to clients and customers using FBO facilities
•Transportation of clients and customers to and from the airport terminals as required
•Operate radio to ensure smooth and efficient communications with all relevant departments
•Provide services for marshalling aircrafts in and out of the FBO, as well as all ground services required by aircraft such as lavatory, water and power services and any other aircraft services that may be requested
•Provide services for hangar moves and aircraft towing as required
•Provide ramp services for all clients and/or sister companies (IMP Group) actual or potential
•Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks on ground equipment
•Maintain order and cleanliness of FBO area, FBO equipment and office
•Participate in 6S audits and checklists
•Maintain safety of ramp on airside according to requirements, e.g. salting and snow removal during winter operations
•Maintain security of FBO and facilities by adhering to company policies and procedures and as directed by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority
•Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Production Manager according to business needs
Responsibilities for Grooming:
•Clean exterior and interior of aircraft upon arrival in timely order
•Service lavatories as required
•Complete basic restocking of commissary for aircraft
•Keep offices and shop clean
•Detailing of customer vehicles as required
•Support AME with hangar moves and opening of hangar doors
•Maintain company cleaning equipment in good order
•Accomplish any additional tasks as requested by management
Requirements:
•2 years of experience in industry
•High School Education completed
•Driver license Class 3 & maintained throughout employment
•Must pass Transport Canada Security clearance and requirements (MOT)
•Must have or be prepared to obtain the Radio Operator Certificate
•Experience of providing excellent customer service
•Experience of working on a Ramp or in FBO facilities
•Experience of grooming, cleaning or car detailing
•Must have or be prepared to obtain D pass for driving on airport apron
•Be available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week as required
•Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
