Sunwing is currently recruiting a Technical Data Administrator, Maintenance & Engineering, in Toronto, ON
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Keep the computerized maintenance tracking system current at all times
• Ensure all paperwork complies with regulatory requirements and that new aircraft are set up accurately
• Enter flight hours and flight cycles as taken from the Journey Log for each aircraft in the fleet into the CMTS on a daily basis
• Update, close, and report back scheduled check packages
• Assist in the generation and tracking of technical data for new aircraft
• Generate information files for new aircraft
• Download all work packages from the Sunwing Ops site
• Audit all maintenance technical records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulations
• Transcribe all defects raised in the journey log to the CMTS on a daily basis
• Complete label booking for all component changes
• Report back all scheduled maintenance including task cards, modifications, airworthiness directives and service bulletins
• Generate maintenance reports as required
• Other duties as assigned by the technical records manager
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years’ technical records experience preferred
• Must be familiar with CAR 605.92 and CAR 573.15
• Must be familiar with the ATA system and aircraft maintenance terminology
• Ability to identify airworthiness requirements
• Ability to recognize errors and take appropriate action to correct them
• Experience working with computers and electronic databases
• Must be accountable for assigned responsibilities
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Maintain safety awareness and adhere to Sunwing’s policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Must display meticulous organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
