Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming and checking-in passengers
- Assisting passengers with boarding on and off aircraft
- Assisting with the handling of irregular operations
- Making announcements to passengers and answer inquiries regarding flight information
- Providing general flight and airport information
- Ensuring on-time performance (OTP) and work toward OTP excellence
- Strictly adhering to Transport Canada regulations
Qualifications/Conditions of Employment
- Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous airline experience considered an asset
- Please clearly indicate previous customer service experience
- Excellent English communication skills (French considered an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to listen and understand customer needs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and under demanding time constraints
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic accounting skills and/or experience processing payments
- Proven reliability with an excellent work ethic
- Computer literacy and experience within a Windows environment
- Able to work shift work, split shifts, weekends and holidays when required
- Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) by passing a security and background clearance
Wage: $14.00
Location: Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
Status: Seasonal (May - September)
