JOB DESCRIPTION: Airport Supervisor – YYC Reports to: Dixie Marchuk, YYC Airport Manager
Qualifications: Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Interpersonal Skills Computer experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel & Outlook) Must have experience in a Management, Supervisory or a Lead position Knowledge of Amelia reservation systems an asset
Responsibilities: Assist with Management of Customer Service and Ramp personnel at the YYC base (hiring, scheduling, time sheet approval, vacation and wage administration, uniform standards, praise and discipline (to include verbal & written warnings) adherence to safety standards and administration of exit procedure re: company property collection and closing employee files).
Base communication (new employee orientation, flight schedules and changes, maintaining base libraries and assisting with responding to relevant irregularity reports).
Ensure personal and staff training is done and records are up-to-date.
Base administration (security passes, maintain base supplies and equipment log, monitor daily flight records/baggage services, provide direct Amelia trouble-shooting).
Control base supplies (stationery, operational, uniform, safety inventory).
Participate as an Airport Liaison when required (counter contracts, meetings, changes and concerns).
Assist with Monthly Reporting (supply Base Manager with relevant base information on a monthly basis).
Other duties as required by Airport Manager
