June 18 was a banner day for Lauren Lee from Airport Operations Class 19.  First, at the BCIT Convocation Lauren was presented with the Lieutenant Governors Award for 2015.  Then at the special graduating awards ceremony, Lauren was awarded the Dean's Award (pictured left with School of Transportation ating Dean, Kim Dotto).

These awards recognize Lauren's excellent academic record as well as her tireless commitment to leadership, as a Class Representative and as a member of the Maximum Altitude Executive.  In addition, Lauren volunteered at numerous functions throughout the year, and was a great ambassador for BCIT and the Airport Operations program.

Lauren is now working with Securiguard at the the Vancouver International Airport and continuing to combine her passion for aviation with her background in criminology and security.  Well done Lauren, congratulations!
