We are currently seeking a Full Time Parkade Supervisor/Machine Operator to join us at our Edmonton City Centre location in Edmonton, AB. Start Date: ASAP.
General Description:
This position supervises the professional cleaning team ensuring both quality standards and client needs are met or exceeded within budget.
Duties/Responsibility: With a 'Can-Do' attitude and 'Passion for Excellence', the Supervisor assists the Account Manager to support the custodial staff and clients by implementing and reinforcing appropriate Systems to ensure a Parkades get clean and maintain the standard of cleanliness.
* Organize and attend regular meetings with Parking cleaning team
* Ramps, Entrances and all parkade are rotationally clean
* Stairs, Elevator Landings are inspected daily and clean as regular base
* Regular checking the machine’s performance and reporting if any fault has been identified
* Maintain and submit the equipment operation log sheet
* Train the staff for safe machines operation
* Daily and ongoing Parkade inspections to ensure a high level of services, and Quality Assurance Standards
* Regularly review assignments with staff to ensure tasks are performed properly and quality of Work is maintained at expected levels
* Responsible for the safety of all personnel and ensures that equipment is in safe working condition
* Ensures any accidents and/or property damage is reported within deadlines
* Accountable for all equipment like Parkade cleaning machines and keys, Also ensures they are Inventoried on a daily basis
* Develop and manage preventative maintenance program for all on-site equipment
* Process equipment and supply orders and maintain adequate inventories
* Periodically review efficiencies of operations and assist Manager in improving and upgrading Standards, work schedules, etc.
* Responsible for orientation and training of personnel
* Maintains attendance records for all personnel.
* Regularly holds meetings with employees to review performance, attendance and health and Safety issues, etc.
* Administer appropriate training, coaching corrective action when necessary
* Identify and resolve problems on site and documents all complaints and follows up to ensure there is a resolution
* Perform other assigned duties as needed or directed by the
Manager/Operations Manager
* Submit supervisor Report on daily basis
* Other reasonable duties assigned by the management
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education
- Working supervisor experience and/or three years’ cleaning experience
- BSW certificate
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent organizational, customer service and leadership skills
- Able to build strong relationships with employees and clients
- Ability to work independently and lead the team during Unit Manager’s absence
- Able to communicate effectively in English with staff, client and management
- Must be able use and operate floor machines (auto scrubbers, carpet extractor and etc.)
