G4S has been selected by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) to secure critical elements of the air transportation system, and for the delivery of airport screening services including passenger, hold baggage and non-passenger screening for Vancouver and the Pacific Region.

We are presently recruiting for the following opportunities

Receptionist / Office Administrator (YVR – L4 office)

Reporting to the Support Services Manager, this position strives to support the operational and administrative needs of all staff as well as the Scheduling and Support Services Teams.       

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:
•Answer and direct incoming calls in a prompt, professional and a courteous manner.
•Take messages and make sure they get to the appropriate employee. 
•Meet and greet all visitors to the company. Direct visitors to departments, meeting rooms, or staff members' office.
•Send and receive packages, letters, etc. as required. Sign for deliveries when necessary.
•Provide information and assistance to clients and customers.
•Entering data into various computer programs
•Maintain a pleasant appearance of the reception area or lobby.
•Daily maintain and ensure dishes/kitchen are clean and kitchen is well stocked. (include clean fridge monthly)
•Provide Uniform Back-up; place order, distribute and destruction 
•Control and Inventory Office Supplies and order as needed (for all Staff, Production Room, Kitchen and Office)
•Maintain office working environment – ordering temperature changes from YVR and arranging repairs or upgrades within the office for equipment and maintenance issues.
•Receive and deliver all manual paystubs to S.O.s and salaried staff.
•Post and monitor for relevance office bulletin boards.
•Update and share internal staff lists with Office staff and provide G4S list to CATSA as requested or if changes.
•Other projects on an as needed basis.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
•High school diploma.
•The successful candidate will have 1+ years of reception or administrative support experience in a similar environment.
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office program.
•Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
•Must be detail oriented.
•Able to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
•Ability to work well independently.
•Ability to problem solve and be resourceful.
•Professional attitude and appearance.
