Role: To ensure the total coordination of all pedestrian (maintenance), vehicle and aircraft movements on the de-icing pad in collaboration with the airport authority, and the Operations Manager with the goal of ensuring the safe transit of all persons, vehicles and aircraft on the de-icing pad. •Coordinate the traffic movements of all aircrafts and de-icing vehicles on the de-icing pad, as well as any pedestrian movements. •Responsible for transmitting all directives coming from the Airport Control Tower; Nav Canada and SGAT (Ground Control & Apron Control). •Responsible for the daily verification of all systems in the control tower (computers, communications, etc.) •Follow up on the diesel tanks and natural gas reservoir quantities. •Place orders for diesel and perform the inventory; •Coordinate the operations of the snow removal team; •Follow up on the Tower incidents/accidents files and reports; •Documentation for ADHOC deicing demands. Special Requirements The ideal candidate is flexible, detailed oriented, professional and able to work autonomously. Also, the candidate must have an excellent oral communication, must be able to react quickly and be able to work under pressure. ** The Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s licence, as well as obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP) and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
