Ironman Holdings LTD is currently looking for positive and energetic people to join our Kelowna team! As a Baggage agent, you will play an important role in ensuring that our airline customers are ready to operate safely and effectively while in Kelowna. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy physical work and working in a team environment. Currently we are seeking individuals for part time morning, evening and weekend shifts, however there is the potential to lead to full time. Job Description: Marshal aircraft in and out of ramp area safely * Operate and position all airside equipment * Perform basic baggage equipment maintenance checks * Prepare, load and unload baggage from aircraft * Ship and receive cargo * Communicate pit loading counts and procedures to appropriate authorities * Service aircraft lavatories and water * Perform aircraft de-icing Qualifications: Able to work shift work – early mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays * Able to work up to 10 hour shifts * Able to adhere to company and airline safety policies while performing assigned duties * Able to lift up to 100 lbs repetitively * Able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, and climb repetitively * Able to work in confined spaces * Able to work outside in all climatic conditions * Basic computer skills required * Demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding customer service Conditions of Employment: Must be able to obtain Transport Canada Security clearance and a Restricted Area Pass (To obtain this pass, you must be a Canadian Citizen or have a Permanent Resident Card, provide 5 years of traceable history and undergo a thorough criminal background search) * Must have a valid driver’s license * Must be able to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operations Permit (AVOP) license (Provided by employer) Ironman Holdings would like to thank all interested applicants, but only those who are selected for an interview will be contacted.
