The Calgary Airport Authority is leading an
exciting expansion program at YYC worth over two billion dollars. With the
recent opening of Canada’s longest runway and the construction of a new

The Role
Reporting to the Director, Land &
Transportation Development, the Land Development Coordinator will provide
informed assistance on multiple projects, which are being developed and
facilitated at any one time. This position will provide analytical,
administrative and operational support services to the Director, Land and
Transportation Development, and to the Airport Lands Managers. Specifically,
the position has the following primary duties:
- · Preparation of land leases, licenses, easements, renewals, assignments, amendments and tri-party agreements in consultation with legal advisors.
- · Prepare and review letters of response to tenant concerns, interested parties and potential tenants.
- · Promotional support, including developing presentations and marketing materials for available land development initiatives. Maintain and update the Land Development pages as well as tenant property listings on yyc.com.
- · Assist the Director in preparing annual O&M and Capital budgets, approving and tracking expenditures to each of the budget centers. Administer and reconcile the City of Calgary Acreage Assessment levies in relation to new development projects.
- · Office duties including: organization of the office environment (maintain office filing system), ordering of supplies Hospitality including the ordering of catering for meetings and special functions as well as researching and obtaining specialty promotional items. Schedule meetings.
- · Monitor client compliance to insurance requirements within lease agreements. Generate monthly compliance report and contact client to request compliance or information as necessary.
- · Prepare and distribute operational advisories. Coordinate with clients and Project Managers to minimize any operational impacts
Basic Requirements
· Familiarity with business processes, lease
documentation and lease compliance. Property management and associated
accounting and budgeting background helpful.

Ability to work with minimal supervision – to
track and achieve deadlines
· Ability to write in a professional manner and effectively proof read.
· Ability to develop and manage production of marketing materials, graphic and presentation material and web content.
· Ability to set and manage multiple priorities and projects.
· Office administration skills
· A general knowledge of insurance and various policy types and terminology
· Ability to effectively learn and use specialized software (Propworks, BMRS, RPS, CIPS); Microsoft Word (including document formatting and mail merge), Excel (including financial analysis such as determining IRR, ROI & NPV, sorting and filtering, and pivot tables), basic proficiency in either Illustrator, Photoshop or Publisher
· Ability to write in a professional manner and effectively proof read.

· Ability to set and manage multiple priorities and projects.

Additional Requirements
·
Related post-secondary education and experience
with automated property management systems.
·
Experience with Transport Canada’s airport
leases would be considered an asset
