Job Summary: - Directs the planning and performance of passenger service, ramp, air logistics and critical station activities for mainline and connection carriers. - Supports Delta's leadership values, while mentoring and supporting directs reports in their supervision of customer service activities involving schedule and fare information, ticketing, check-in, airplane boarding, aircraft servicing and dispatching, cargo handling, and building and equipment maintenance. - Provides technical guidance and interprets company and local policies and procedures. - Analyzes and evaluates station operating performances and corrects or recommends corrective action. - Determines and justifies personnel, facilities, and equipment needs for these functions and is accountable for their effective utilization and costs. - Be Delta's representative in all contact with airport authorities, regulatory agencies, representatives of other carriers to ensure regulatory compliance, while at the same time, promotes Delta's position and standards within the airline industry. Qualifications - Must possess valid documentation to work and reside in Canada. Transport Canada security clearance policy stipulates that all applications for a Transport Security Clearance must be supported by adequate, reliable and verifiable background information covering a period of five years prior to the application being made. - Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. - Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
