Cargo Operations Coordinator - YYZ
Kelowna Flightcraft Ltd - Mississauga, ON
Reporting to the Cargo Operations Manager, the Cargo Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and tracing incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the Customer. During the assigned shift, the Cargo Operations Coordinator oversees the entire system network.

Responsibilities
Cargo Handling
• Payload finalization
• Loadability checks for sales
• System load planning (weight and balance by Dispatch)
• Drive on-time performance
• ULD messaging management
• Set up and coordinate ADHOC flights in conjunction with Dispatch, Maintenance and Crew Scheduling
• COMAT management
• Supplier management during assigned shift:
- Handling and warehouse oversight
- Ground handlers and fuelers
- Ensure supplier performance complies with SLA
• Coordinate aircraft swaps with Maintenance and Dispatch due to AOG’s

Documentation / Administration / Finance
• Create daily shift report
• Return journey log to Dispatch
• Complete library updates
• Reconcile airway bills & flight manifests
• Provide reconciliation to Finance Department

Compliance
• Liaise/Coordinate with Government authorities regarding security, customs, airport, etc.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with re security , customs, airport authorities (ACI/ICS management)

Support
• Support Flight Crew as required
• Support Maintenance as required
• Support Dispatch as required
• Support AOG recovery (customs, shipping)

Customer Relations
• Ensure Customer timelines are met and provides timely updates of changes
• Provide customer updates for irregular operations

Other
• Take on role of Subject Matter Expert on certain mission critical tasks.

Any other duties assigned by the Cargo Operations Manager.

Requirements
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cargo Operations Coordination or Airline Operations Coordination
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in International Cargo Operations
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Air Cargo Operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of IATA Air Cargo laws and regulations
• Understanding of customs and security regulations
• Proven experience with shipping documentation (e.g. bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with cargo booking software
• Native English speaker or minimum 80% score on IELTS English Exam
• Foreign Language (French or Dutch) would be an asset
