We are looking for (Flight Coordinator, YYC) individuals who possess a strong drive for results and a passion for understanding and meeting the needs of our customers in a safety focused environment. If you want to challenge your technical expertise then this is the right team for you!
REPORTS TO: Manager, Flight Services
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Book, prepare and set-up all scheduled flights for our managed clients;
•Set up all related travel arrangements relating to these flights such as special ground transportation requirements, airline bookings, etc.;
•Oversee all flight activity (Customs, Catering, Hotels, etc.); day, night, weekends;
•Supervise flight following procedures for all assigned flights;
•Prepare flights as per established in company SOP’s and following the COM;
•Prepare the required documentation and track the flights for billing purposes;
•Address customer service inquiries by phone and e-mail within a short response time;
•Close trips, review invoices;
•Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aviation an asset;
•Ability to take initiative, to make decisions and work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while meeting short deadlines;
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
•Strong commitment to provide the best customer service in the industry;
•Team player;
•Strong organizational skills;
•Administrative experience is required;
•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
•Flexible with work schedule, available to work independently and on various shifts as dictated by the flight requests. The successful candidate will have access to a laptop and a blackberry to work off site as required.
EDUCATION:
•Post-secondary education in aviation management or a related field is an asset.
