- Manage the sales and marketing of statistical and economic solutions and products such as reports, publications, WATS (World Air Transport Statistics), Traffic Forecast, .etc.;
- Deliver to market our publications on an annual basis with all relevant updates;
- Manage relationships with partners involved in the development of our solutions and products;
- Retain existing customer relationships and develop new ones;
- Develop new partnerships & new distribution channels to generate business growth;
- Develop new commercial products as existing portfolio is mainly at mature stage;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to take into operational realities & production timelines;
- Handle distribution, invoicing, and client support activities on an ongoing basis;
- Establish good working relationships with all relevant sources of airline information, as well as with internal IATA staff, that are involved in the development, implementation, and operation phases of new and existing products.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree in Business, Economics or related quantitative discipline;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Marketing background with budget management experience;
- Good understanding of the airline, airport, and air travel industry, key issues and business economics;
- Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Excellent inter-personal skills;
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment, and as part of a team;
- Must be driven by challenging sales target;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
