Customer Service Specialist / “Future” First Officer:
Thunder Airlines is accepting resumes for a Customer Service Specialist / “Future” First Officer for our head office in Thunder Bay. Our “Customer Service Specialist” duties include flight following, reservations, providing charter quotations, liaising with our valued clients amongst other duties. Shift work is required. Above average computer skills are required as is the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment. All employees are required to pass a Criminal Record Search prior to employment.


Our Customer Service Specialist will receive a First Officer PCC or PPC (as applicable) on one of the company’s aircraft after 12 months in the position and will then continue to work as a Customer Service Specialist and First Officer as required. The Customer Service Specialist will aspire to a full time flying position as internal pilot movement allows. Of course, timing will be dependant mostly on pilot attrition at the time. Relocation to another base may be required once you move to full-time pilot. We require a current Multi IFR with 500 hours TT. A training agreement for the Customer Service Specialist’s First Officer training is not required however a training agreement for your upgrade to Captain will be required. The basics of the Captain upgrade agreement is we agree to provide you training but do not require any money up front, while you agree to stick around to fly our aircraft for a period of two years as Captain. The agreement does amortize to “zero” over 24 months.
