Purpose · The Supervisor of Airport Operations is responsible to assist and support the Station Manager. Responsibilities · Perform stations audits as per corporate programs, identify corrective measures and ensure implementation; · Lead operational meetings and monitor service provider SLA’s; · Provide direction to 3rd part contracts; · Provide coaching and mentoring to front line Air Transat representatives; · Ensure compliance with regulations of Air Transat policies and procedures; · Manage station delays and emergency response events; · Handle irregular operations (IRROPS); · Work with airport management and government agencies. Familiar with Transport Canada airline regulations, · CBSA and USCBP regulations. Requirements* · Diploma: College Degree or equivalent experience related to field; · Speciality: minimum of (4) years pertinent experience in the airline/aviation industry; · Extensive experience with above and below the wing operations; · Languages: English (written and spoken) and French is an asset; · Be able to lift 20kg and do extensive walking; · Must have a valid driver’s license; · Computer systems : Microsoft Office; · Excellent communicator and leader; · Must be flexible to work all hours/days (irregular hours) as dictated by operational requirements; · Excellent organizational and customer service skills, professionalism and autonomy; · Sense of leadership, diplomacy and team spirit; · Travel flexibility.
