Reporting to the Associate Director, Airline Program & Services, the Manager, Air Carrier Program Development is responsible for the development, integration and implementation of airline programs as related to carrier operations within the terminals; management and administration of the Airport Customer Assistance Program (ACAP); management of airline involvement in the Pearson Priority Lanes; the redevelopment of airline check-in to introduce innovative technology to streamline the check-in process; implement airline products and services to create a seamless travel experience.
Job Description
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing airline partners
- Management of new airline integrations and existing airline terminal relocations
- Management and administration of the ACAP, auditing service levels, reporting on performance standards and presenting monthly reports
- Manage airline integration with respect to connection programs
- Lead airline projects and program initiation & implementation
- Lead analysis and resolution of systemic airline related issues with a focus on reducing passenger frustrations and the potential for operational impact
- Manage baggage integration activities with a focus on enhancing the passenger experience, including self-tagging and Self-Serve Bag Drop check-in concepts as well as inbound and inter-terminal baggage activities (in conjunction with Aviation Services)
- Determine airline resource requirements (check-in counters and kiosks)
- Provide airline coordination and communications related to the T1 and T3 EPs including construction mitigation planning
- Manage terminal related aviation commercial activity, including check-in revenue and airline involvement in Pearson Priority Lanes
- Manage airline tenant space and operational requirements
- Responsible for being a customer centric Leader with respect to the Mission, Vision, Values and Beliefs
Job Requirements Qualifications:
- Must have a post-secondary diploma or degree with a business focus
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in airport or airline operations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in people management
- Minimum of 6 years in contract management
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance
