PURPOSE:
To provide effective leadership and coordination of supervision, support and back-up to all Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport or Pearson International Airport posts. To maintain and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. To ensure proper execution of procedure and compliance to all required documentation. To ensure adequate inventory levels. Sets a professional example to all Security Guards and Supervisors. Performs administrative support functions as required to facilitate the position.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledgeable of all Legal Authorities pertaining to duties.
- Generally knowledgeable of Access Control, Alarm and CCTV systems.
- Knowledgeable of Site Specific systems, including fire alarms.
- Knowledgeable of all site Emergency Procedures and be able to implement the same as necessary.
- Knowledgeable of the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act. Including all applicable regulations and guidelines pertaining to working as a Security Guard in the Province of Ontario.
- Knowledgeable of company ISO 9001 QPM and QSP Manuals and associated forms.

DUTIES:
- Responsible for ensuring training is conducted to meet contractual requirements
- Ensures ISO 9001: 2000 procedures are followed
- Monitors review dates of all Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport or Pearson International Airport employees and ensures reviews are conducted on time.
- Ensures employees meet all requirements of the company General Orders.
- Prepares Special Occurrence Reports for any incident that directly involves Security and/or safety.
- Prepares Non-Conformance Reports for all incidents, complaints or deficiencies discovered that affect the delivery of service to our clients.
- Prepares Incident Summary Reports, weekly & monthly.
- Reviews Daily Summary Reports submitted by the Supervisors and delivers to Airport Operations Manager for submission to the client.
- Assists in the Hiring and screening of new employees, including conducting interviews.
- Assists in ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Uses proper and acceptable methods in monitoring all Guards and Supervisors, while remaining within the guidelines of the General Orders.
- Inspects all posts on as required to ensure conformance to company policies and procedures.
- Inspects all posts on a regular basis and tests site Guards on their knowledge of the Post and General Orders.
- Maintains effective control and schedules maintenance for all issued equipment, including that issued to each Supervisor. This includes company motor vehicles.
- Enforces all rules, policies and procedures in a fair and impartial manner.
- Communicates instructions from Head Office to all security staff.
- Assists in the maintenance of the Quality System and participates in all reviews and meetings associated with the ISO 9001 QPM and QSP manuals including internal audits. Makes recommendations for improvement that will increase the effectiveness of benefit the service delivery to our clients.
- Performs on call duties.
- Other duties as required by the company.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be Bondable.
- Must have a valid Transport Canada Security Clearance
- Must obtain and keep valid an Access Control Officers Certificate
- Must obtain AVOP at Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport or Pearson International Airport within 6 weeks of commencement of duty.
- Must have a full Ontario Drivers license with no restrictions.
- Must have a clean drivers abstract.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Minimum of 2 years employment with A.S.P. incorporated and/or one of the following requirements;
- Previous Security Supervisory experience.
- Sufficient prior industry related experience (i.e. Police, Military, and Security).
- Formal law enforcement training or Diploma.
- Must participate in the Company Basic Security training program that involves up to 5 or more classroom training days.
- Must complete Supervisory Training course that involves up to 5 or more classroom training days.
- Must complete company Quality Assurance program orientation.
- Must have 5 years experience in an Airport environment.
- Must have 5 years supervisory or management experience
- Must be trained in First Aid & CPR and updated every two years.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
- May be required to work in dusty or dirty environments.
- Physically capable of performing all duties as set out in the General Orders.
- Must have the ability to discriminate among standard colours.
- Must have the ability to hear conversation of ordinary loudness at 15 feet with each ear.
- Must have binocular vision correctable to 20/30.
