The Calgary Airport Authority is leading an exciting expansion program

Our Procurement and Contracts Team
This reliable team of eight are involved with the high demands of
various projects throughout the Calgary International and Springbank Airports.
They are the subject matter experts of purchasing and contracting and
collaborate with our internal stakeholders to ensure all processes are
followed.
What You Will Do
As a part of our Contracting team, you will administer contracts from
start-to-finish with a large focus on construction, IT and professional
services. Your strong knowledge and experience in issuing construction
contracts will contribute to your ability to be a reliable resource to our many
stakeholders. You will deal with a variety of contracts that keep our busy
international airport running efficiently and effectively.
Reporting to the Manager, Contracts your key responsibilities will be
to:
· Coordinate all activities related to the
issuance and implementation of construction, professional services and IT
contracts. This includes: developing contract documents, managing end-to-end
competitive bidding process, reviewing agreements and negotiating, awarding and
executing contracts.
· Attend and participate in all project related meetings during the Bid, RFP, Evaluation and Award processes to ensure that all legal aspects and policies are being followed and adhered to.
· Lead and assist project teams and business units through contract processes to ensure understanding in areas such as: RFPs, RFQs, Bids and EOIs.
· Liaise with legal in regards to any legal issues on behalf of our internal clients.
· Demonstrate accuracy, confidentiality and best practices when dealing with all aspects of contract management.
· Attend and participate in all project related meetings during the Bid, RFP, Evaluation and Award processes to ensure that all legal aspects and policies are being followed and adhered to.

What You Bring
· University degree or seven years contracting experience
· Working towards or have obtained the Supply Chain Management Professional Designation (SCMP)
· Knowledge of contract law and progressive experience working with construction contracts
· A positive attitude and strong customer service orientation with the ability to positively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
· Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities while continuing to meet deadlines
· Strong attention to detail
· Experience working with a computerized procurement system
· Proficient with Microsoft Office – ie. Word, Excel
