Duties: 
Under the direction of the Manager, Business Services & Shift Optimization, the Scheduling Specialist is the focal point for preparing, adapting, establishing and implementing operational personnel shift schedules in a complex scheduling environment.

Requirements: 
EDUCATION: 
Successful completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in providing administrative or operations support.
  • Experience in the use of office computer software applications and data manipulation and reporting tools such as Word and Excel.
The following experience factors will be considered an asset:
  • Experience in staff scheduling.
  • Experience with pay and leave systems.
  • Instructional experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the interpretation of collective agreements.
