New Posting - Pacific Coastal Airlines

Pacific Coastal Airlines is currently looking for a permanent full time Customer Service Supervisor. This position is based out of the Pacific Coastal Airlines head office in the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all ground operations are conducted in a structured, organized, efficient fashion, without sacrificing public safety, or the quality standards as prescribed by  Pacific Coastal Airlines
  • Build a strong, competent and cohesive team of employees that are motivated to support the Company's vision and uphold and reflect positively on the Company's values
  • Provide leadership, training and performance management to all team members
  • Foster and maintain a culture that is respectful, supportive and engaging
  • Challenge the teams' capacity by establishing and achieving annual safety, health and operational goals and objectives
  • Identify, address and support employee performance in a timely manner and engage in effective progressive discipline as necessary
  • Complete annual employee evaluations
  • Ensure that all YVR's CSAs are provided with adequate training, currency checks and daily communication support
  • Monitor and audit all areas of the base operations to ensure compliance with all published standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop appropriate corrective action plans to resolve operational audit findings with the goal to improve the department's overall safety, increase operational effectiveness and reduce operational costs
  • Actively participate in bi-monthly Base Supervisor team meetings
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports within prescribed timelines
  • Prepare work schedules, ensure adequate and efficient staffing
  • Approve timesheets and authorize overtime hours according to standards
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer service environment
  • Aviation/airline operations experience is a very strong asset
  • Experience working with AmeliaRes is an asset

Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Planning, forecasting, goal setting, coaching skills
  • Computer Skills (Web, Excel, Word and Intelisys)
  • Ability to motivate, engage and inspire team members
