FUNCTION: Reporting to the Supervisor, Flight Operations Administration, the Records Administrator is responsible for the records maintenance of the Flight Operations department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data entry of all Pilot initial and recurrent simulator and ground school training information into FOA World
- Data entry of all Pilot medical, licensing and passport information into FOA World
- Coordination of Dangerous Goods training
- File and maintain all Pilot training records
- Maintain general pilot and flight attendant personnel information
- Creation of training files and mailboxes
- Diligent follow-up on all outstanding documentation and training forms
- Timely submission of all training records and check ride forms to Transport Canada
- Support the Pilot Training Planner, as required
- Asist with and coordinate pilot interview set-up
- Complete Flight Operations administrative duties as assigned
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Flight Operations Admin
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate, College preferred
- Knowledge/understanding of Transport Canada aviation and training regulations
- Data entry experience
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and set priorities
- Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, general computer and database software knowledge)
- Quick learner and ability to be assertive
- Ability to follow direction and work independently as required
- Excellent communication skills in the English language
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of flight crew working environment
- Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on time reporting for work)
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances
