Roevin Technical People is currently hiring for a full time permanent Terminal Safety and Operations Specialist in GTA, ON. Terminal Safety and Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
Develops, maintains and supports adherence to Terminal Safety & Security Plans and Procedures which comply with regulations:
Supports and assists in all matters respecting security, safety and emergency response at the Terminal and in ensuring alignment with Airport Safety and Security Programs
Performs safety, security and operational audits to ensure regulatory compliance within the Terminal as per regulatory and contracted obligations
Conducts incident reviews, prepares reports and performance tracking and identifies and implements any corrective or proactive actions
Participates as an active member in Airport Safety & Security Committees, Forums, and Working Groups:
Supports Terminal Operations by being liaising and collaborating with terminal tenants, government agencies and the Airport operator regarding Terminal safety, security and operations
Terminal Safety and Operations Specialist Qualifications:
Experienced Safety and/or Security professional with demonstrated familiarity in airports and/or aviation related safety and security program delivery;
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations including WSIB & WHIMIS; Highly organized, possessing a solid ability to plan, develop, implement and deliver by collaborating with multiple stakeholders;
Experienced in the preparation of plans and procedures and training programs;
Excellent planning, organization and time management skills with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously;
Passionate and enthusiastic customer service focused professional;
Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trust based relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels;
Comfort and familiarity in working in a small team within a multi-faceted stakeholder environment;
Sound judgement and decision making skills, with a “hands-on” problem solving approach;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and government security clearance at the Secret Level;
Good computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
