Overview 
The Administrative Assistant performs a range of administrative and clerical duties as required by The General Manager, Regional Leadership and by direction required by HQ. They may perform all or some combination of the following duties: sort, prioritize, and reply to correspondence received; answer and respond to telephone calls. Acts as an information resource and refers inquiries to the appropriate department or individual, when necessary. Prepare station sales reports, payroll preparation and reporting, and other pertinent administrative tasks required for the station and region. Assist Performance and Business manager with administrative duties and reports for the station and region. Prioritizes and manages a variety of diverse tasks and assignments or other duties pertinent to the regional business as required.

Responsibilities 
  • Prepare station sales reports, payroll and payroll reports, and other daily, monthly, quarterly reports required for the station 
  • Provides general administrative and business management support for GM and regional leadership 
  • Prepare materials, sort and classify documents in filing to become information resource for GM. 
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. 

Qualifications
Education 
  • High school diploma/GED or education equivalent required 
  • College degree preferred
Knowledge/Skills 
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak English fluently required 
  • Computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with report generation & database experience plus facilitation skills required
Experience 
  • Five years of administrative experience required
  • Airline industry experience a plus

Other 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer without sponsorship 
  • For occasional travel to the USA (Training and company purposes), must have proper documentation to be able to visit the United States 
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications 
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
